In July 2021, HSDO was happy to deliver a newly completed extension of the Dalaba Hospital Maternity. This new building comprising 4 new rooms and 12 beds will drastically improve conditions for expectant and new mothers who up to this point had to stay in one tiny overcrowded room, sometimes sleep on a cot on the floor or be hospitalized in other sections of the hospital.

This was achieved thanks to generous donations from HSDO supporters in Africa, Europe and North America.
